  We first found GM Hardwood online and went with Gabor because of all the great reviews. The high reviews are spot on. The professionalism and courtesy is top notch. He truly cares about the end product and it shows. He made us feel very comfortable and was very transparent. After our first phone call with him, we knew we made the right choice. We had our red oak floors refinished and stained with a sweedish finish and the outcome was beautiful! He went the extra mile by hand making vent inserts for us, matching the wood and color. Gabor exceeded all of our expectations and I will recommend him to anyone who needs work done on their floors. If I could, I would give him 10 stars. Thank you Gabor!

  Absolute master of craft. Gabor did a beautiful job installing rift and quarter sawn white oak floor with Swedish finish. We've used other installers and while the floors looked good we found Gabor's work to be superior. He found us the exact wood we wanted (not an easy task these days). He picked the longest and most beautiful boards to place in the highest visibility areas. He is incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and particular which resulted in a gorgeous floor. He worked with the cabinet installer's timeline to install prior to cabinets and returned for the final coat finish post cabinet install to ensure a perfect final product. If you're looking for a high-end install and great value give Gabor a call.

  I selected Gabor's company sight unseen based upon a few fabulous reviews--and boy, were they spot on! Scheduling was a breeze, he sent updates via texted photos, and the finished product is absolutely mind blowing. Gabor revived our original very old Douglas Fir floors and they've never looked so good in my lifetime--nor, i suspect, in my grandparents'. He sanded, filled, and applied swedish finish and the 100-yr old floors are like new. just wow. i'd give him 10 stars if that were possible.
